BREAKING GROUND
Phase I of HopeCity Newark is now underway at the intersection of South 20th Street, Springfield Avenue, Avon Avenue, and South 19th Street. Construction begins in 2025 on an 8-story development that will offer modern, affordable condominiums in the heart of Newark.
More than just housing, this site will anchor a full ecosystem of community-owned spaces. Residents and partners will gain access to equity participation opportunities and essential amenities, including a grocery store, wellness center, bank, fitness facility, restaurants, and a learning hub—designed to elevate everyday life and local ownership.
